The Birthday Dinner

Last night we had a birthday dinner for Auntie Kylie. Maddie my cousin help with everything, unlike her brother and sister, they were very annoying. Maddie was sick all day Friday so she couldn't help me do the desserts but she sure made up for it yesterday. I spent all Friday night making the two desserts, that were a huge hit a the dinner table.

For the main meal there was steak or sausage with the options of Corn & potato salad or Tossed salad.

Dessert was the best part. Being a witch I love cooking so the desserts were the best part. There was Caramel Slice or Apple cake.

The Caramel Slice, Served with Vanilla Ice cream and Chocolate custard.

Every one who came to the dinner, raved about the food. It made my confidence in my self grow. But I also made a new friend. Brent ate everything I offered and more, We had so much fun, trying to cut the Caramel slice and then trying to make sure every one got a slice while Kylie tyred to steal the whole thing. I am going to ask the guest to give me a comment on my food and I will post them on Lyra's and Lilly's Kitchen Please keep a eye out for the recipes and pictures.
